Itinerary
Day 1
Skardu to Deosai Plateau & Camping
Ascend to Deosai Plains. Set up camps near Sheosar Lake. Trek around the lake, enjoy wildlife spotting, and cook fresh barbecue over the campfire. Overnight in camp.
Day 2
Deosai to Basho Valley Meadow
Wake up to a freezing sunrise over Sheosar Lake. Drive down to the Indus River, and ascend the steep jeep track to Basho Valley. Camp in the pine forest meadow. Overnight in camp.
Day 3
Basho Exploration & Return to Skardu
Explore the hidden waterfalls and streams of Basho. Walk to the wooden suspension bridges. Drive back to Skardu for departure.
